Chrite has been dean for five years. He previously served as dean and professor of management and international business for four years at Montclair State University.

“It has been a tremendous privilege to serve as dean of the Daniels College of Business,” said Chrite. “The faculty, staff and students are extraordinary and our alumni community, advisory board members and corporate partners have been inspiring and generous.”

Under Chrite’s leadership, the College of Business expanded its international reach and introduced a PhD program, as well as a Master of Science in management, DU Chancellor Rebecca Chopp said. Chrite has also been responsible for innovative approaches at the college that encourage experiential and active learning, Chopp added.

The university will form a search committee to start looking for Chrite’s successor.
