Lamb of God - :60 With Randy Blythe of Lamb of God

:60 With Randy Blythe of Lamb of God.

Few bands erupt with kind of power that Lamb of God has demonstrated in the last two decades. The metal masters are hailed not only for their punishing mix of guitar wail and rhythmic thud, but thoughtful lyrics that scrutinize the prevailing power structures that guide us all to some degree. The group – Randy Blythe, Mark Morton, John Campbell, Chris Adler and Willie Adler – began its life under the name Kill The Priest – and for their latest album, ‘Legion: XX,’ they’ve created a collection of cool covers that features some of their favorite bands from their mid-90s roots. Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Quicksand, Ministry, Bad Brains, Melvins and more are addressed, and KTP’s video for their update of Big Black’s “Kerosene” is must-see portrait of mayhem in suburbia. Kill The Priest singer Randy Blythe submitted to our rapid-fire interview, and we learned a few things, including being a Dairy Queen janitor, cheating in school, his presidential running mate, and his best celeb impression.
