Police seek missing at-risk man in Pleasant Hill

PLEASANT HILL — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing at-risk 20-year-old resident.

Giovanni Avella was last seen outside a residence in the 200 block of Camelback Road about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, police said in a statement.

Avella, who is white, 6 feet tall with a stocky build, was wearing a T-shirt, possibly with holes around the collar, basketball shorts and worn-looking tennis shoes.

He is developmentally delayed, knows only a few words and can become agitated.
